VT Enterprise (VTE) was founded by Victor Olex in 2001 with the mission to become a key provider of innovative IT solutions to financial firms such as banks and hedge funds.

VTE’s current offerings include staffing of expert IT consultants, turnkey IT project management, as well as an innovative reference data solution. VTE is constantly working on novel IT solutions in order to address the needs of financial firms.

VTE is headquartered in Jersey City NJ, ideal for serving customers in New York City as well as in the Tri-State Region, and has cost-effective offshore software support.

Partnering strategy

VTE generally recommends the use of open source software, given the cost savings by avoiding license fees, as well as the excellent quality of open-source software that results from peer production.

Some examples of open source software recommended by VTE are Apache, Django, Python, SQLAlchemy, Hibernate, and Varnish.

Other than open source software, VTE has expertise in and can work together with a large range of commercial software vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Sungard, Calypso, Murex, Summit, Bloomberg as well and number of financial data providers.

Management

vt.enterprise’s management consists of:

• Victor Olex, President and Founder

  Victor is an IT industry veteran having worked at a large number of banks, hedge funds and technology companies for nearly 15 years. He is a hands-on manager and a software developer, often personally engaged in day to day work with our clients. Victor has an IT engineering degree from the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology.

• Erik Pennings, Director Sales & Marketing

  Erik combines a MS in Physics, PhD in EE, plus an executive MBA and has well over 15 years of high-tech marketing and product management experience in large corporations as well as in startups.

• Michal Dobrzanski, Director Outsourcing

  Michal manages VTE’s offshore software development center in Poland. Michal holds an IT engineering degree from the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology. Prior to joining VTE Michal managed IT infrastructure at a leading insurance company.
